Bringing Hope, Dignity and Opportunity to Communities in Zimbabwe
The Joseph Project is a Christian charitable organisation committed to improving the lives of vulnerable children, families and communities across Zimbabwe. It was founded in 2004 by Dr Apostle Ephiel and Dr Apostle Elna Mukamuri before being established as a PVO in 2009.
We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, every family deserves the chance to thrive, and every community deserves access to the resources needed to build a brighter future.
Through practical programmes focused on nutrition, education, healthcare and sustainability, we work alongside local communities to address immediate needs while creating long-term opportunities for growth and self-sufficiency.
Our work is driven by compassion, guided by Christian values and strengthened through partnerships with supporters, churches, volunteers and organisations both locally and internationally.
Our Story
The Joseph Project was founded in response to the growing challenges faced by vulnerable children and families in Zimbabwe.
Many communities continue to experience poverty, food insecurity, limited access to healthcare and barriers to education. These challenges often affect every aspect of daily life, making it difficult for children and families to reach their full potential.
Recognising these needs, The Joseph Project was established to provide practical support while helping communities build sustainable pathways towards a better future.
Over time, our work has grown to include feeding programmes, educational support, healthcare initiatives, agricultural development and community empowerment projects.
Today, we continue to work alongside communities, schools, churches and development partners to create meaningful and lasting change.
Our Vision
To see children, families and communities across Zimbabwe flourish through access to nutrition, education, healthcare, opportunity and hope.
Our Mission
To demonstrate the love of Christ through practical action by addressing hunger, supporting education, strengthening healthcare services and promoting sustainable community development.
