Our Work
The Joseph Project was established in response to a simple but urgent need: vulnerable children and families cannot thrive without consistent support, opportunity and hope.
What began as a commitment to serve communities facing poverty and hardship has grown into a multi-programme organisation working across education, nutrition, healthcare and sustainability.
Today, The Joseph Project partners with local schools, community leaders, churches and international supporters to deliver practical solutions that create lasting impact.
Transforming Lives Through Four Core Programmes
The Joseph Project works holistically to address some of the most pressing challenges facing vulnerable children and communities in Zimbabwe. Through our Education, Feeding, Health and Shelter Programmes, we provide practical support that addresses immediate needs while creating opportunities for long-term transformation. Together, these programmes help build healthier, stronger and more resilient communities where children can learn, grow and thrive.
* Education Programme
Education is one of the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of poverty. Through our Education Programme, The Joseph Project supports vulnerable children and young people by improving access to learning opportunities, educational resources and scholarships. We work alongside schools and communities to create environments where students can develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to build brighter futures.
* Feeding Programme
No child should have to learn on an empty stomach. Through our Feeding Programme, The Joseph Project provides nutritious wet meals to school children during term time, helping improve concentration, attendance, wellbeing and educational outcomes. Alongside school feeding, we promote long-term food security through initiatives such as Foundations for Farming, bee keeping projects and fruit tree programmes that help strengthen the resilience of schools and communities.
* Health Programme
Access to quality healthcare is essential for thriving communities. Through our Health Programme, including support for Njanja Clinic, The Joseph Project helps improve access to healthcare services, health education and community wellbeing initiatives. Our goal is to support healthier children, stronger families and more resilient communities.
* Shelter Programme
Every child deserves safety, stability and a place to call home. Our Shelter Programme focuses on supporting vulnerable children and families through initiatives designed to provide protection, care and long-term opportunities for growth and development. As this programme expands, it will play a vital role in helping vulnerable individuals build secure and hopeful futures.
